Jasmine Black Tea
About Jasmine Black Tea
This Chinese loose leaf black tea from Fujian has rich notes of malt and vanilla, uplifted with an intense natural fragrance and flavour of pure jasmine flowers. To achieve scenting this thorough, the tea leaves must be laid alongside carpets of jasmine flowers which bloom in the darkness of night, imparting their sensual aroma. A beautiful tea to begin the day, or whenever you need a reflective moment or two. Pair with fruity desserts, or even toast with butter and strawberry jam.
About Jasmine tea
The process of scenting with jasmine can be repeated for anywhere between three and five nights to ensure an unforgettable strength, using a fresh bed of flowers each time. Teas for scenting are picked across China before being sent for fragrancing in the height of the jasmine season in Guangxi in the summer.
