Produced in the village of Fuxi in the south eastern province of Anhui, this tea is one of the most famous of all Chinese green teas. Huangshan Mao Feng translates as ‘Yellow Mountain Fur Peak’, referring to the small white hairs that cover the leaves. Harvested in early spring, only the bud and the next leaf are picked, creating a soft, mellow infusion of the highest quality. Delicious on its own or served alongside rice and fish.
