Our Organic Gunpowder Supreme green tea is a superb example of this famous tea at its very finest. Each tea leaf has been rolled and coiled into snail-shaped curls, unfurling in hot water into deeper-green-than-usual colour, with a light grassiness, and a nutty, almost oak-like flavour. A ‘supreme’ example means that each leaf has been carefully picked for consistently high quality of shape, size and colour. Owing to the more complex nature of this Chinese green tea, it makes an exceptional iced tea with lemon and sugar, or blended with fresh mint on a hot day.
