About Darjeeling Summer Singell Silk Teabags
Our Organic Darjeeling Spring Singell Tea is a premium second flush with a quality grade of FTGFOP1. The leaves are predominantly black, interspersed with chocolate-brown twists and dark green speckles. This results in a rich amber infusion with a bouquet of fruity and spicy aromas. The flavour is warm and sweet, reminiscent of baked fruit, balanced with distinct muscatel notes.
About Darjeeling
Darjeeling tea is grown in the Indian Himalayan district of the same name, but its distinctive character comes from a Chinese Camellia sinensis sinensis cultivar traditionally used for green or lightly oxidised oolong teas. In Darjeeling, however, this leaf is processed as a black tea, creating the region’s signature profile — bright, aromatic, and muscatel — a flavour born from Chinese varietal heritage shaped by Indian mountain terroir.
Cultivation & Processing
This exceptional tea comes from the Singell Tea Estate, situated 1,500 meters above sea level, overlooking the eastern Himalayas and surrounded by pine forests and lush green valleys.
