About Green Earl Grey

Our Green Earl Grey is a green tea uplifted with the iconic taste of natural Sicilian bergamot with the addition of safflower and sunflower petals. An alternative to classic Earl Grey, which is made with black tea, this version is lighter, fruitier and ends with lingering, citrus-freshness. Ideal for the mornings or afternoons.

About Earl Grey

Earl Grey refers to a tea blend that originally consisted of Chinese teas. Today, Earl Grey is no longer made solely from Chinese teas but also from others. Typically, black tea from Ceylon, China, or Darjeeling is used as the base. However, green tea, white tea, or rooibos tea are now also available as Earl Grey teas. The common factor in all of these teas is bergamot oil.

Effects

Green tea is invigorating with research showing it has numerous health benefits. It soothes the stomach and intestines due to its tannins, has antibacterial properties, and prevents cavities. Additionally, it can regulate blood pressure, boosts metabolism, and strengthen the immune system.

How to enjoy

Enjoy our Green Earl Grey best when served pure, to fully savour the citrus flavour of the bergamot and the subtle lightness of the flowers. This tea pairs wonderfully with light desserts such as lemon cake or vanilla pudding and offers a refreshing contrast to savoury snacks like cheese platters. For an especially refreshing note, it can also be served iced.
