Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy outlines how orders placed through the AVANTCHA website are processed, dispatched, and delivered. AVANTCHA products are operated and distributed by Artisan Specialty Tea Trading LLC. This policy applies to all retail and business orders fulfilled through the avantcha.com platform.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies exclusively to the purchase and shipment of physical goods ordered via avantcha.com. Separate terms may apply for in-store purchases, events, workshops, or masterclasses and will be communicated at the point of engagement.
2. Shipping Carriers and Methods
AVANTCHA partners with Quiqup for domestic deliveries within the UAE and DHL Express for international orders.
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated based on your delivery country and account type (individual or business). The system dynamically applies free shipping thresholds, flat delivery rates and courier-specific rules.

4. Dispatch and Delivery
All orders are processed Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.
- Orders placed before 4:00 PM GST are dispatched on the same business day.
- Orders placed after 4:00 PM GST are dispatched the next business day.
Estimated delivery times:
- UAE orders: Delivered within 0-2 business days
- International orders: Delivered within 2–6 business days
Delivery timeframes begin from the date of dispatch. Artisan Specialty Tea Trading LLC is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance or other force majeure events.
5. Tracking and Notifications
Once dispatched, you will receive shipping updates from our courier partners:
- Quiqup (UAE): WhatsApp notifications with live tracking links.
- DHL Express (International): Email and SMS updates, including tracking and delivery management options.
6. Delivery Instructions and Contactless Options
Please ensure someone is available at your provided address to receive the shipment. Alternatively, you may request contactless delivery through the courier's tracking link once your order is en route.
We require a physical address — PO Boxes are not accepted.
For business addresses, we will make every effort to schedule deliveries before 6:00 PM.
7. Risk of Loss and Damages
Risk of loss or damage to goods passes to you upon successful delivery. Until then, Artisan Specialty Tea Trading LLC retains full responsibility for the shipment.
8. Taxes, Duties, and Customs
We ship on a Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) basis where applicable, meaning customs duties are included in your checkout total.
However, in some countries, additional customs fees or import taxes may be charged by local authorities. These charges, if applicable, are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated at checkout.
9. Sustainable Shipping – DHL GoGreen
As part of our commitment to sustainability, all international shipments via DHL are processed using DHL’s GoGreen climate-neutral shipping program.
This initiative offsets the carbon emissions associated with parcel transport through verified environmental protection projects, ensuring that your order arrives with minimal environmental impact.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Shipping Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Any disputes arising from this policy shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
