These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website (“Site”) as well as the purchase of products and services offered through it. This Site is operated and distributed by Artisan Specialty Tea Trading LLC, located at Unit 12, St. 4A/7A, Al Manara, Al Quoz 1, Dubai, UAE. The AVANTCHA trademark is owned by AVANTCHA Switzerland GmbH.

By accessing or using this Site, you (“User”, “you”, “your”) agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must refrain from using the Site or making any purchases.

 

1. Ordering and Payment

All orders placed through this Site must be paid in full at checkout. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, with transactions processed securely via Stripe, which incorporates robust fraud prevention tools.

Pricing is displayed in the currencies relevant to your selected shipping destination, including AED, BHD, CAD, EUR, HKD, JPY, KWD, MYR, NOK, OMR, QAR, SAR, SGD, and USD. An order is only considered accepted after successful payment authorization. We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel any order at our discretion, including in the event of suspected fraud, errors, or breaches of these Terms.

 

2. Shipping and Delivery

We deliver to a wide range of countries, including Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Poland, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovenia, United Arab Emirates and USA. For specific rates, delivery times, and available shipping methods, please refer to our Shipping Policy page, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

Risk of loss or damage transfers to the Customer only upon delivery. We do not process partial or split shipments; your order will ship in a single consolidated delivery.

 

3. Returns and Refunds

Returns are subject to our Refund Policy, which is hereby incorporated into these Terms. Generally, returns are accepted solely for broken/damaged teaware. Exchanges are not offered. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless otherwise stated.

 

4. Promotions and Offers

We may run promotional offers from time to time, including but not limited to:

• a 10% welcome discount on first purchases, with free shipping for registered customers;
• threshold-based free gift campaigns;
• discount codes shared via newsletters or on our homepage;
• occasional site-wide percentage discounts, such as anniversary sales.

Promotions may be subject to specific eligibility rules, minimum quantity or spend limits, and usage caps per customer. Unless otherwise specified, promotions cannot be combined. Gift cards expire 12 months after purchase; store credits do not expire.

If an item purchased on promotion is returned, refunds will be calculated based on the actual amount paid after discounts, and customers may retain any complimentary gifts included in the promotion.

Promotional mechanics and conditions will be communicated through newsletters, banners, or other marketing channels. We reserve the right to deny or revoke any promotional benefits in cases of suspected misuse, fraud, or abuse.

 

5. Intellectual Property and Content Use

All text, images, graphics, icons, trademarks, and other materials displayed on this Site are owned by or licensed to Artisan Specialty Tea Trading LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are strictly prohibited from:

• copying, reproducing, modifying, distributing, or creating derivative works from any Site content;
• reusing our imagery, trademarks, brand elements, or trade dress for any commercial or competitive purposes;
• scraping, harvesting, or systematically collecting Site data, including prices, for competitive purposes;

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under UAE law, we disclaim liability for any:

• indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages;
• interruptions, delays, errors, or Site unavailability;
• damages resulting from third-party sites or links accessed through our Site.

Our maximum liability for any claims related to your use of the Site or purchase of products shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant order. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Artisan Specialty Tea Trading LLC, its affiliates, employees, agents, officers, and directors from and against all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from:

• your breach of these Terms;
• your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights;
• your misuse of the Site or its content.

 

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), UAE. Local consumer protection laws will apply as required by UAE regulations.

 

10. Definitions

For the purposes of the Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:

• Product: Any good made available through the Site, including tea, teaware, store credits, gift cards, or future physical or digital items.
• Service: Any workshop, masterclass, or other event provided through the Site.
• Agreement: The legal contract between you and Artisan Specialty Tea Trading LLC formed by your acceptance of these Terms.
• Owner: Artisan Specialty Tea Trading LLC, operator and distributor of AVANTCHA products.
• User: Any person accessing or using the Site.
