About Lushan Yun Wu

Lushan Yun Wu, a Chinese green tea also known as "Clouds and Mist," is one of China's most famous green teas. When brewed, this Yun Wu tea releases an aroma of red beans, which, as it cools, reveals sweet, fruity notes of passionfruit and lime. The taste opens with vegetal notes and transitions to a pronounced sweetness with a lingering, buttery-umami. Over multiple infusions, the tea reveals lighter, more floral nuances.

About Lu Shan

Lu Shan is a mountain in the city of Lushan in Jiujiang County, located in China’s Jiangxi Province. This mountain is one of the most famous in China and has been designated by UNESCO as both a World Heritage Site and a Global Geopark. Lu Shan is located south of the Yangtze River and stretches to the shores of Lake Poyang.

Cultivation

This exclusive harvest comes from Jiangxi, where the tea is cultivated by Tea Master Mr. Zheng in the Lushan Mountain range at an altitude of 700 metres. Lushan Yun Wu is harvested early in the spring, resulting in a celebrated green tea with beautiful emerald-green leaves.

Effects

Lushan Yun Wu tea contains tannins, aromatic oils, and vitamins. It is also rich in vitamin C, amino acids, and, like most fine Chinese green teas, has one of the highest concentrations of catechins. Green tea helps to lower bad cholesterol and aids in fat burning.
