Shake things up with this Dong Ding and Pineapple Old Fashioned recipe. Using notes of fruit, rye and spice in our Organic Dong Ding Oolong with the smooth bourbon and tropical taste of pineapple syrup, this is a fun bevvy to sip on for those laid-back nights with friends. Read on to see how you can recreate this simple recipe at home…

Cocktail Ingredients

Mocktail Ingredients

Directions

  1. Fill the mixing glass/cocktail shaker with ice, add 50ml of the tea infused bourbon and syrup, and stir until well-chilled.
  2. Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube.
  3. Express the oil of an orange twist over the glass, then drop into the glass to garnish. Enjoy your Dong Ding and Pineapple Old Fashioned

About Our Organic Dong Ding Oolong

Enjoy the clear and pure character of this Chinese Oolong Tea made from the Qing Xin cultivar and grown in Da Ming Shan – a diverse organic tea garden (a rare find for a Chinese oolong of this kind) surrounded by deep forest at 1100m above sea level in Shanglin, Guangxi. Tea master Liang Jian Shan works with their team to hand pluck the leaves in the middle of May, oxidising them to 25%, before roasting them over charcoal to impart a deep flavour with notes of fruit, rye and spice.
