A rare and wonderfully curious and legendary oolong tea from Nantou County, Taiwan. Oriental Beauty teas are unique in that they are cultivated to be nibbled by summer leafhoppers that cause the leaves to oxidise on the branch and develop unique flavours as a result of more pronounced polyphenols. Dark green leaves with white tips create a deep orange infusion with pronounced pine and wild honey aromas. The taste is ripe with cherries, cacao and cardamom spice, quite unlike other oolongs you may have tried. Enjoy with spicy food, or rich meats like duck.
