Young, succulent buds of Chinese green tea are hand-tied into balls by artisans in Fujian, China who wrap the tea with fresh marigold flowers. Once placed in hot water, they unfurl into sensational blooms, releasing their flavour and perfume. The infusion is soft and smooth, bursting with the fragrance of summer flowers. We have added a touch of natural mango flavouring for extra sweetness and a tropical taste that’s deeply satisfying. Pair with savouries and sweets at afternoon tea, such as cucumber sandwiches, or citrus tarts.
