A Darjeeling Tea – a 2nd Flush – (FTGFOP1 grade) from Singell Tea Estate, which overlooks the Eastern Himalayas and is surrounded by velvet-green forests towering with pine trees and deep valleys. The leaves of this tea are predominantly black, with small chocolate-brown twists and flecks of dark green leaf. The resulting infusion is a juicy amber colour, with fruity and spicy aromas. The taste is warm and sweet, like baked fruit, with noticeable notes of nutmeg. The perfect tea for late summer into autumn.
